Good ride last night – harder than it looked from the kerb side!

Frodsham Wheeler Alan Orme setting the best time on the night, 25 minutes and 49 seconds over 10 miles.

All change at the top of the leader board as a new look top three emerged. Alan Orme is the new leader after another solid ride gave him second on the night but top Wheeler.

Dave Arundale leapt like a salmon from sickbed to saddle and dragged his aching ribs into second on the night to tie with Roy Forster for second overall on the season. Dean Smith and Ciaran Pickering had led to this point but with both absent on the night, the chance was taken.

The top five are pulling away from the rest but splitting them are just 6 points. Four more rounds to go, then the last one on September 7th is the Handicap Championship. Anyone wanting to ride the handicap must have at least one time this season to qualify.
