Hatton 10 Time Trials, Every Thursday May to August

The Hatton 10 Time Trials are open events for all to come along and try every Thursday evening during the summer months. Its a fun and friendly event for cyclists of all abilities and you will only be racing against yourself. You don’t need to be Tom Dumoulin or Hannah Barnes to take part — just come along and enjoy the ride, you’ll be surprised at what you can do!

About the Hatton 10 Course

Hatton 10, as the name suggests, is 10 miles in distance with a small elevation gain of only 220ft, so relatively flat. Riders do 2 laps of the first section over approximately 9 miles and a 1 mile downhill section to the finish line. Typical rider times to complete the 10 mile course range from 40 to 20 minutes.

There are some lovely fast sections on the course. Its a technical course with 3 right angle left turns for you to navigate twice. The event is fully marshalled with timekeepers at the start and finish along with marshals stationed on the four main junctions / corners on the course. You can view the course on Strava here.
