After last weeks grand day out , normality returns……
Saturday –
The Wizard – 60 miles at a steady pace.
Meeting at Moughland Lane lights at 08:30.
Steady paced ride which is mainly flat but a nice climb up to the cafe which does an excellent variety of cakes and butties. Usually home by about 13:00
Sunday , not so much A and B rides but more a case of one or the other.
Dean is offering a Sunday mud plugging in North Wales. If you’ve ever done the Flintshire Challenge , you’ll know the route. If you’ve not , then this is 50+ miles , with most being off road around the Mold – Moel Famau area. Green lanes, bridleways, fire tracks, steep climbs, belting descents, grassy bits, mud, gravel, this really does have a bit of everything and something for everyone. Dean will post details on Facebook about times etc. This will be a car share job , you’ll probably be getting to Mold Sports Centre around 8-9 am and home for the highlights.
If like Froomey you prefer your roads a bit smoother and clean, then there’ll be a ride from Moughland lights at 08:30 and Twelve50 at 9am. Summer Trees cafe for refreshments after bowling round the Cheshire Lanes. Back via the Yeld and home in time for the Tour live on TV.
