Not all Frodsham Wheelers Spend their Sunday’s on the Tarmac!
This Sunday one of our muddy members Gaz Minnis, set his sights on Europe’s biggest and best single day MTB event, the Manx Telecom IOM end to end MTB challenge.
What a beauty it was, up to 1000 riders starting at the Point of Ayre in the north of the island and finishing in the lovely Port of Erin in the south. 75k of heather clad moors, forest trails, sweeping single track and 1500 meters of grippy sharp climbs, it was a tough test for all.
It was the ride of the year for Gary and he has already started plans for next year! What a beautiful place to ride on or off road and Gary hopes to see more muddy wheelers at the start line next year… you know who u are!
