The end-of-season Frodsham Wheelers and Runcorn Cycle Club Hatton 10 Handicap Time Trial is upon us!
Our aim is to make it a family afternoon out, so please bring along as many friends / supporters as you can cram into your Robin Reliant en-route. Bring hooters, cow bells, vuvuzelas, anything that makes a loud noise to spur the riders on. Why not enrol your granny, lift her up while still seated in her High Back Chair, strap her to the roof of said Robin Reliant and provide reassurance that it’ll be like riding the Nemesis at Alton Towers. She’ll love it!
Saturday 16th September — 2pm
Mission control have given us the go ahead for Saturday 16th September at 2pm, and we’re all ready for lift off. All the seasons hard work and training come down to this day, in a winner takes all event with the usual interclub fun and frolics at the end.
Registration is from 1pm at the layby on Summer Lane, Hatton for a £3 entry fee.
First rider is off at 2:01pm. Presentations for the event will start at approximately 3:15pm, during which time medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed riders will be given in the male and female categories.
The fastest overall rider will also be presented with the ‘Hatton 10 Trophy’. There will be some light refreshments and cake provided during the presentations and if anyone would like to showcase their Great British Bake Off skills on the day, please let your club representative know what ‘scrumdiddlyumptious’ bakes you’d like to provide.
We would also be extremely appreciative of some fabulous volunteers to help us deliver the event, so please contact your club representative if you’re able to assist.
Anyone can enter the Handicap TT, however to be in with a shout of the awards on offer, all of the following conditions will apply:
- Ridden 2 of the weekly Interclub TT’s during 2017.
- Represented either Frodsham Wheelers or Runcorn CC during the 12 Interclub events during 2017.
- Must wear a helmet (No Helmet – No Ride).
