A light north westerly breeze made a nice change from the usual 15mph westerly headwind at Hatton last night and there were some good times all round as a result!
Rob Green tops the board for a third week in row with an impressive 22.54. Jonny Okell was in second place with a 23.35 followed by Michael Leadbetter on 24.05. Alan Orme was a close 4th just 4 seconds outside the top three on 24.09 having taken time out of work in his ‘lunch hour’ to race.
19 riders in total braved the chilly ‘autumnal’ conditions to take part and we had a full turnout of volunteer timekeepers and marshals, thanks to all of you! With a lighter breeze than in recent weeks many riders achieved PB’s on their times. Frodsham Wheelers Nathan Morgan-Astle tried the course out for the first time and finished inside the points with a 25.26. We also welcomed a new rider to the course tonight, Geraint Parry from Liverpool Century. We hope you both enjoyed the course and hopefully see you back again next week!
All riders welcome, whether club members or not 🙂
A reminder to all reading this, anyone wishing to ride is very welcome, whether you are a club member or not. Its a friendly non-competitive event and you are only racing against yourself. All we ask is that you arrive to sign-on before 6.45pm and pay a small administration fee of £4 (£3 for FWCC & RCC club members).
