Weather forecast looking none too shabby has encouraged talk of an A group Sunday epic , details in depth c/o Mark Stevens on the Facebook page. The important parts are;
Saturday 30th August
All welcome for the Saturday spin to the Wizard at Alderley Edge. Given the expected 120 miles on Sunday I suspect that powder will be kept dry for a steady all inclusive run. 60 miles , steady , mainly flat apart from Artists Lane up to the caff.
Sunday 31st August
A Group- Depart from Moughland Lane at 08:30 and picking up at Ditton Road at 08:40.
See Facebook for complete route. Mam Tor, Cat & Fiddle , Winnats Pass are all on the list so it’ll be a grueller. It will be a steady run though and no-one gets left behind. All day pass required, expect to be home for 17:00.
B Group – Depart Moughland Lane 08:30 , Twelve50 shop at 09:00
45ish relatively flat miles ending up at Dunham Massey for a brew at Dog Farm. Back home by 12:30 ish. Steady all inclusive pace , new riders welcome.
