During 2016 the Frodsham Wheelers will embark on a number of extended rides which are from out of the local area
There are three in particular which we here at Frodsham Wheelers HQ call “Epic rides”
1) Anglesey Circular – Saturday 16th July 2016
The route is 100 miles and hugs the coast of Anglesey visiting the famous South Stack lighthouse. This is a circular route and covers the most remote places of Anglesey. The scenery on show is breath taking and the wild life simply beautiful.
2) Buttertubs Beast – Saturday 11th June 2016
This is the second Epic of 2016. Following in the footsteps of the 2014 TDF stage one the route covers 92 miles and climbs over 8500ft so plenty of hills. Starting from the sleepy village of Threshfield near Skipton the route heads north to Hawes then clockwise looping back to Threshfield.
